Zamfara Govt Repairs NIS Operational Vehicles

Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal has handed over serviced operational vehicles to the state Command of the Nigeria immigration Service.

This gesture was part of the governor’s efforts to support security agencies in the state and enhance their capacity to maintain law and order.

At the handover ceremony which took place today (Friday) in Gusau, Governor Dauda said the vehicles were repaired at the request of the immigration office to support their operations. “They requested for the repairs and we did it to support their work,” he stated.

During his speech, the Comptroller of Immigration Service, Zamfara State Command, CIS MS ALIYU, has expressed gratitude to Governor Dauda Lawal for servicing the vehicles “The governor of Zamfara has been consistently supporting our operations and we are ready to deliver,” he said.

MS ALIYU promised that the immigration service will ensure effective check of individuals entering and leaving the state, aiming to enhance security and provide citizens with a sense of safety.

“We promise to ensure thorough check against whoever comes in and out of the state so as to grant the citizens of zamfara hope to sleep with their 2 eyes closed,” he stated.
