Aminu Jaji donates N10 million, 200 bags of Rice to Gummi flood victims 

Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji, a member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Kaura-Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency, has donated N10 million and 200 bags of rice to support the affected victims of the recent flood disaster that devastated Gummi Local Government Area in Zamfara State,

The donation was formally presented to the Emir of Gummi, Rtd. Justice Lawal Hassan Gummi, by Mansur Khalifa Kaura, the Secretary of the APC Jaji faction, on behalf of the lawmaker. 

“The assistance is part of a broader effort to alleviate the suffering of those who lost their homes and belongings due to the floods.” Mansur said

Hon. Jaji, who chairs the House of Representatives Committee on Ecological Funds, expressed his deep sorrow over the disaster, emphasizing the urgent need to support the victims. 

“We are here in Gummi to commiserate with our brothers and sisters over the recent flood disaster that rendered many of you homeless,” Mansur Khalifa Kaura conveyed on behalf of the lawmaker. 

He also announced the donation aimed at providing immediate relief to the affected families.

In his response, the Emir of Gummi, Rtd. Justice Lawal Hassan Gummi, expressed profound gratitude to Hon. Jaji for his timely intervention, noting that the assistance would ease the burden on the flood victims. 

“This is timely, we appreciate Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji for giving this kind assistance to our people,” the Emir said, adding that the lawmaker’s actions demonstrated his deep concern for the welfare of the Gummi Emirate.

The Emir further called on other well-meaning individuals and political leaders to follow Hon. Jaji’s example by extending support to people at the grassroots level during such crises.
