The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim Ummah for the successful completion of the 1445 AH/2024 Ramadan fast.
In a press statement by the publicity secretary of the party, Yusuf Idris, said Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani, the Chairman of the party in Zamfara State, expressed solidarity with the Muslim community as they celebrate Eid-El-Fitr.
The APC emphasized the importance of continuing the lessons learned during Ramadan, emphasizing peace, unity, honesty, sincerity, love, and the fear of Allah in all dealings.
The party called on Muslims to maintain a steadfast commitment to the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as outlined in the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah.
Furthermore, the APC urged all Muslims to intensify their prayers for the betterment, growth, and development of Nigeria. Specifically, the party called for support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s efforts to restore peace and economic prosperity in Zamfara State and the nation as a whole.
According to the publicity secretary, in a display of generosity and compassion, the party leaders were commended for their assistance to party members, supporters, and executives, as well as non-members and individuals from other political affiliations, through the distribution of assorted foodstuffs and cash.
“This humanitarian gesture aimed to alleviate the hardship faced by the people of Zamfara State.” Idris stated.
The APC concluded the statement by expressing gratitude to all those who contributed to this charitable cause, invoking blessings from the Almighty Allah upon them for their generosity.
