Governor Dauda Lawal has appointed Yakubu Sani Haidara, as the new Head of Zamfara State Civil Service.
The Secretary to the State Government, Malam Abubakar Mohammad Nakwada, announced the appointment, stating that it takes immediate effect.
Haidara replaces Barrister Ahmad Liman, who retired on February 28, 2025.
A 1989 Political Science graduate from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Haidara became a Permanent Secretary in 2012.
He has served in key government offices, including the Ministries of Commerce and Industry, Transport, and the Office of the Head of Service.
Governor Dauda commended the outgoing HoS for his service and urged Haidara to uphold integrity and adhere to public service rules in his new role.
