Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar has begun distributing 496 trucks of food items to vulnerable residents in Zamfara as part of his annual Ramadan Welfare Package.
This was announced by Hon. Ibrahim Muhammad (Danmadamin Birnin Magaji), Chairman of the Publicity Committee, in a statement on Sunday.

Speaking at the launch in Kaura Namoda, Gusau, and Talata Mafara, Yari, a former governor and senator for Zamfara West, said the exercise would run across all 14 local government areas to help residents start Ramadan with ease.
He emphasized that the program is non-political and aims to reach beneficiaries in all 147 wards of the state.

Represented by the head of his political organization, Dr. Lawal M. Liman (Gabɗon Ƙaura), Yari urged officials to ensure a fair and honest distribution process. Each beneficiary will receive a 50kg bag of rice, 100kg of millet and maize, and one kilogram of sugar. The distribution is expected to be completed within four days.
