Kano National Assembly candidate dies few days to election

Four (4) days to the Presidential and national assembly elections, the candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP to represent Wudil/Garko federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Alhaji Kamilu Ado Isa died on Monday after a brief illness.

Isa, is a former Assistant Comptroller General of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

In a condolence message to his family, the Presidential candidate of the NNPP, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso while describing his demise as shocking and a huge vacuum that can’t be replaced, he prayed to Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal peace.

The deceased has been buried in Kano according to Islamic jurisdictions.
