The PDP Zamfara central senatorial candidate and former minister of communication, Hon Ikira Aliyu Bilbis has been arrested by police operatives.
Bilbis was arrested in Gusau earlier today (Tuesday)
Speaking to SMARTS NEWS through telephone, Alh Muhammad Abdullahi Zangina, Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Zamfara State chapter has confirmed the arrest saying it may not be unconnected with an allegation by the rulling party the APC of vandalizing it’s billboards and other properties during the Reception Rally in honour of Dr Dauda Lawal the party’s flag bearer in the state.
He said a team of their legal practitioners are currently at the Police headquarters in Gusau where he was determined to know the level of the case for further action.
