The Governor, in his welcome remarks, disclosed that the essence of the briefing was for his administration, which is barely two weeks old, to have a clear understanding of the MDAs’ mandates, the number of their staff, and also, their activities.
This, he said, is necessary for him and his team to understand the operations of the MDAs.
His words: “We have just spent a little over two weeks in the office. But we are trying very fast to know the happenings in the system”.
Mall. Dikko Radda, further observed that the outcome of the briefings will enable his government to chart a new course for an efficient and efficient Katsina civil service.
He said: “Every clarification we need, I am sure, we shall get at these briefings. And thereafter, we can tell you our observations.
“Another rationale for organizing this meeting is for us to get to know the status of the projects you have undertaken, and how much you have disbursed for them. So that we can offer our input on how to complete their executions”.
